Picnic at Herring Island

Enjoy a BYO BBQ or a picnic lunch with other ALSO members, or just pop in.
Inspect the Sculpture Park and the Native Wild Garden. Dogs and bikes are
not permitted on the Island.

Where: Herring Island, located in the Yarra River, near Como Park, South Yarra. The closest major road is Alexandra Avenue. Melways reference: 2M C2. More details: www.parkweb.vic.gov.au Access is by private boat or punt ($2 per person), swimming is not recommended.

When: Sunday 15January 2006. 12.30pm - 4pm.

Cost: This is a free ALSO event. All members, family and friends welcome.
