A Night at the Gin Palace

When : Tuesday 22nd June 2004, from 6pm to late.

Where : The Gin Palace, 190 Little Collins St Melbourne (off Russell Place). To get to the Gin Palace, from the corner of Swanston and Little Collins Streets: head east up Little Collins and turn left at Russell Place, the first laneway with thru traffic. You’ll see the GP sign lit up with yellow lights.

What : ALSO Members and Guests are invited to help raise funds while enjoying a social drink with us at the Gin Palace.

The award winning Gin Palace consistently attracts discerning patrons of various ages and backgrounds. Funky drapes, sophisticated jazz, comfortable couches and subdued lighting set the scene for an intimate night out, ideal for conversation and networking. The Gin Palace staff will serve their excellent and eclectic range of cocktails, wines and beers. Guests will be able to appreciate the service and ambience that earned the Gin Palace ‘Mietta's Best Bar’ award several times over.

The management of the Gin Palace have kindly offered to donate all the bar takings from this event to assist ALSO in providing services and projects in support of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
