| Task Description:
| ‘Take care {out} there’ is an innovative community engagement program aimed at developing a gay lesbian bisexual and transgender sexual health enabling culture and network. The program works with a range of groups and mediums [sports, youth, culture, arts, performance, media, events]. Program support team members will help support the project coordinator to prepare and implement fun queer community events, campaigns and activities with a sexual health focus. We are looking for folks to assist us at
| | Key Tasks: | Help with a range of tasks is required including; events preparation, brainstorming new ideas for engaging with community groups, packing safe sex packs, and other occasional tasks. Both in-office and field opportunities available. | | Skills: | Range of skills welcome, work will be tailored to your skill set where appropriate. However we are especially interested in people with events management, communications, marketing, public relations, community development, group facilitation, research and social media skills. All volunteers will need a respectful attitude, a basic understanding of queer community and need to be aware that ‘Working with children checks’ may be required. | Start Date:
| Thursdays- fortnightly on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 4-6pm | End Date:

| Thursday afternoon meetings, 4-6pm, but if you’re not available at this time there may be alternate times available depending on the area of interest, or opportunities for events only work, as negotiated with project co-ordinator. | Volunteers Required:
