May 17, 2009 - IDAHO {International Day Against Homophobia}

The Anti Violence Project of Victoria is partnering with key Victorian organisations including Victoria Police, The ALSO Foundation, City of Melbourne, the Victorian Gay & Lesbian Rights Lobby, Gay & Lesbian Health Victoria, JOY 94.9 and the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission to make a positive statement about homophobia through a state-wide campaign.

On June 25th and 26th 2009, as part of our commitment to country folks, we'll be hosting a rural forum designed to bring together members of our community outside the city. Workers and researchers working in the sector will present key information in identified areas of concern for the GLBTIQ community living in country Victoria.
