Who would have thought that when The ALSO Foundation set up it’s All So Fabulous Op Shop in Smith Street, Fitzroy in 2005 that only 2 years later it would in The Leader Newspaper’s Business Achievement Award in the Charity/Not For Profit category!

“With serious competition from other Op Shops in the area, this acknowledgement is due to the hard work and spirit of the shop’s manager Claude Panozzo and his dedicated team of volunteers with the generous support of those who have donated goods to the shop” said ALSO CEO, Lyn Morgain.

The proceeds are used to support ALSO’s work in areas such as research, education, information, seniors and youth within the GLBTI community.

Pop into the shop and grab yourself a pre-loved bargain, or drop off those unwanted clothes and personal items that you no longer need around the house…
