Bitch Fridays

Bitch Friday’s was launched on Friday the 8th January 2010. Claude Panozzo and Lawrence Prasad through experience felt there was a dimension missing on the scene. They observed that there was no personal interaction anymore between the entertainment being offered at the venues and with the punters that attend. It was produced to the roof and didn’t seem fun anymore so it appeared to have lost its spark.

With some prodding they were able to get Tabitha Turlington out of her early retirement and asked Pussy Willow to join her as co-host on Friday’s.

Friday nights at GH (formerly Greyhound Hotel) Tabitha Turrlington and Pussy Willow dazzle, dismay and entertain the crowds with their irreverent drag show. The ladies incorporate sexual health into the show each week, in a section of the show sponsored by {also}'s ‘Take Care Out There’. They feel that the public sometimes don’t pay attention to information through channels such as brochures and so they really enjoy the opportunity to literally ram the message into people’s faces!

The shows are designed to be interactive with the audience, which is what is needed after a long week at work. In every show audience members a called up to chat with and discuss their week and what it has brought.

The final show is focused on Tabitha’s character Dr T Feelgood therapist to the stars, assisted my Nurse Willow, this show is focussed on sexual and mental health. Claude and Lawrence felt with this new generation of youngster’s sex education was very minimal, and it was a concern with std’s and sti’s were rising and lack of education was a possible reason.
The show focuses on Dr T Feelgood having an audience member take to her couch and discuss their week wether good or bad, and then give camp practical advice on how to cope with situations, very tongue and cheek and nothing to serious. Nurse Willow then presents on sexual education, and discusses practicing safe sex, and always on display are sex packs and the performers discuss what is included and how to use the product correctly.

One of Tabitha’s and Pussy’s camp demonstrations is the use of dental dams, but as Pussy is a lage girl, Tabitha wraps her in with cling-wrap and demonstrates how to practice safe oral sex.

This is just one of many safe sex scenarios they play out every week, Tabitha and Pussy feel this is a way of getting the message out there in a fun way, but conveying the severity of the situation and for the youngsters to know they are not invincible and reality is about being accountable for your actions.
