Bitch Fridays

Bitch Friday’s was launched on Friday the 8th January 2010. Claude Panozzo and Lawrence Prasad through experience felt there was a dimension missing on the scene. They observed that there was no personal interaction anymore between the entertainment being offered at the venues and with the punters that attend. It was produced to the roof and didn’t seem fun anymore so it appeared to have lost its spark.

September 2010 - Lick goes live

On a sunny Sunday afternoon at the Glasshouse Hotel, performers Jess Harlen, Demi Sorono, Jayne Lilford, Max Jahufer, Nyssa Bradsworth, Michelle Van Der Ross, Carolyn Bryers appeared in an acoustic show called Lick goes Live!

Oct 2010 - Fetish Expo 2010

{also}'s 'Take care {out} there' project was the major community sponsor for Fetish Expo 2010 held on Saturday the 30th of October. {also} has identified the fetish community as a distinctive part of Melbourne's queer community and by their very definition, a sexually adventurous group.

October 2010 - Metamorphisis launch

The {also} Foundation through the ‘Take care {out} there’ project was proud to support the launch of a new theatre collective ‘Metamorphis’. From the outset Metamorphis' has pledged it’s work will incorporate representations of queer community social and ethical issues through performance, including on the occasion of the launch, those of sexual health. Around 85 people attended the launch, and all attendee’s where given bag’s which contained safe sex packs and information on safe sexual practice.

July 2010 - Youth wellbeing day

‘Take Care Out There’ and ‘Minus 18’ brought Wellbeing Day to the youth of Melbourne. The day, which took a holistic approach to wellbeing, was made up of a variety of workshops and activities; kicking off with healthy breakfast, followed by meditation, positive body image, sexual health, mental health, swimming, yoga and even circus tricks!
